What We Believe

'Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”'
Mark 9:23 NKJV

Core Beliefs

The following are the core beliefs of Limitless Church based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, divinely breathed and given to humanity as His perfect revelation. It is not merely a historical document, but the living and active voice of God, carrying His truth into every generation. The Bible stands as the ultimate authority for faith and practice, providing clear guidance for how we are to know God, follow Him, and live in alignment with His will.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12, Isaiah 40:8)
The Trinity
We believe in one eternal God, the sovereign Creator and sustainer of all things seen and unseen. He has no beginning and no end, existing outside of time and space, yet actively working within His creation. God is self-existent, unchanging, and all-sufficient—dependent on no one and nothing, yet graciously choosing to reveal Himself to humanity.
God eternally exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are distinct in personhood but perfectly united in essence, coequal and coeternal. This mystery of the Trinity reflects the fullness of God’s nature—perfect in unity, harmony, and love.

God the Father is the source of all life and the author of salvation. God the Son, Jesus Christ, is the Word made flesh, the image of the invisible God, and the Redeemer who brings us back into relationship with the Father through His death and resurrection. God, the Holy Spirit is the Comforter and Counselor, who indwells and empowers believers to live godly lives, guiding them into all truth.

(Deuteronomy 6:4, John 1:1-3, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Sin
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. Sin is not only wrongdoings, but also a condition of the heart, in which we are turning away from God's authority. Sin distorts our relationship with God and corrupts our relationship with others. Because of this separation, humanity is incapable of redeeming itself. Yet, in God's infinite mercy, he provided a pathway back to him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

(Isaiah 59:2, Ephesians 2:1, Romans 6:23)
Jesus
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, as both God and man, is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. He entered into human history not as a distant deity but as Emmanuel, God with us. In His incarnation, Jesus perfectly revealed the nature and character of God while identifying fully with humanity.

(John 1:14, Romans 5:8, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
Repentance
We believe that to receive forgiveness and the "new birth," we must repent of our sins and place our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance means to turn away from sin and acknowledge our need for God's mercy. Repentance is not mere regret, but a change of heart and mind that alters the direction of our lives towards a transformed way of life in Christ.

(Acts 3:19, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 2:8-9)
Baptism
We believe that to live the life that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Water baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation. In baptism, we publicly display our faith and devotion, turn away from our old ways, and rise into a new life in Christ. This is an important step of obedience that demonstrates our devotion to Jesus. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is more than a one-time experience; it is a continual empowering that equips us for service and transforms us into the likeness of Christ.

(Matthew 28:19-20, Romans 6:4, Acts 1:8)
The Church
We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer, and holy communion. The Church goes beyond the four walls of a building or institution; it is a gathering of all those who have put their faith in Christ. Together, we are called to reflect Christ to the world, to proclaim the good news of salvation, and to demonstrate God’s love in action.

(1 Corinthians 12:27, Hebrews 10:24-25, Matthew 16:18)
Eternal Destination
We believe that our eternal destination of either eternal union with God or eternal separation from God is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. For those who repent of their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ, the promise is eternal life in the presence of God. This is not merely life without end but life in its fullest sense, perfect fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, free from sin, sorrow, and death. For those who reject Christ and persist in unbelief, the sobering reality is eternal separation from God. We believe that Christ will one day return to judge the living and the dead, to bring justice, and to make all things new.

(John 3:16-18, Romans 6:23, 2 Corinthians 5:10)
The Return of Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as he promised. His return is the blessed hope of the Church and a major aspect of God's redemptive plan for humanity. For those who belong to Him, His return will be a day of great joy, restoration, and reward. The promise of His coming strengthens us to endure trials, motivates us to live godly lives, and compels us to proclaim the gospel so that all may be prepared for His return.

(John 14:2-3, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 22:12)
Marriage
We believe that marriage is a gift from God that is designed for one man and one woman. We firmly believe that God created humanity in His image as male and female. These two genders are distinct and intentional. These are not fluid nor interchangeable, but a divine gift that reflects God's wisdom and intention for creation. We believe that sexuality is also a good gift from God, given to be expressed only within the context of marriage between one man and one woman. Sexuality should only be expressed in the context of that marriage covenant.

(Matthew 19:4-6, Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18)
